Here are the wedding blog awards for the week of 2/8//09-2/14/09:
The Most Inspiring Blog of the Week: The Little White Book
I always look to this blog for creative ideas and well-written articles that I won’t find other places. This week their article on Chatting about Makeup was packed with advice for brides that are struggling with their wedding day makeup and they featured really cute engagement pictures. My favorite post this week was the Valentine’s Day Wedding Inspiration Board. ADORABLE!
The Most Creative DIY Project of the Week: Inspired Goodness – DIY Farewell Flags
I had an incredibly hard time deciding which DIY project to choose this week. There were so many great DIY wedding project posts this week, but this one stood out. These farewell flags look simple to make and they only cost $21.94 for 100 flags. Talk about budget-friendly.
The Most Useful Post/Article of the Week: A Practical Wedding – What to Wear on Your Head When You Wed
Trying to decide between a hat, headband, or flower? Check out this post to get about forty ideas for your wedding day hair and headpiece.
The Most Stunning Real Wedding of the Week: The Wedding Chicks – A Farmhouse Wedding
How endearing is it to have a wedding reception in a farmhouse? If you’re planning a rustic themed wedding, you’ll definitely get inspiration from these wedding pictures. And if you’re not, they’re just plain cute.
The Best Budget-Friendly Idea of the Week: Not Your Traditional Wedding – DIY Program Fans
Spring and summer brides need to take a peek at this DIY project. If you’re looking to save money on stationery and want to find a charming idea for your programs, this is perfect. These fans look like they were expensive but they’re definitely budget-friendly.

I am so honored you chose my flags! They really are as simple as that. I kept it simple and cheap, because unlike us DIY brides, the guests will most likely throw them away
SO I didn’t want to waste a lot of time sewing.
Thanks again!
