It doesn’t matter what type of ceremony you’re having or who is officiating, you should always go over the readings, service, and vows. You want to make sure you’re comfortable with what is going to be said at your ceremony. Don’t just leave it up to the officiant. I have been to a couple weddings where the couples were upset with the service, but they never reviewed it with the officiant.
