I love the idea of using a fun, non-traditional song for the recessional {when the bride, groom, bridal party and special family members walk back down the aisle at the end of the ceremony} and postlude {when the guests exit the ceremony}, because I think it sets a fun tone for the reception. Here are 9 songs {the first is my favorite because it’s what we used} and I hope they inspire you:

Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder

This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole

How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You) by Marvin Gaye

Today I Met the Boy I’m Gonna to Marry by Darlene Love

Walking on Sunshine by Ali and AJ

Beautiful Day by U2

Let’s Get Married by Jagged Edge

I Feel Good by James Brown

The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra
