Trisha’s Question: I love my wedding dress so much. It took me two months of shopping to find the perfect one in my price range, but I finally did. Now, I’m trying to figure out accessories, including a veil. Every veil I’ve tried on just doesn’t look right and it takes away from my dress. My mom says that all brides wear a veil and I need to wear one. But I think I want to go without it. What do you think?
April’s Answer: I’m a little biased about this topic, because I didn’t wear a veil. I tried on a few and I didn’t like any of them. I thought about making one, but decided that I would look more like myself without one. If you don’t want to wear a veil, you’ll still be in a white a dress and everyone will still know that you’re the bride. Follow your gut and make the best decision for yourself.
