Tip of the Day – Ceremony Seating

It’s traditional that guests be seated on a bride’s side or groom’s side. However, many guests may be friends with both the bride and groom. Many couples have already done away with this tradition, so you might not have thought about it. After you reserve seating for your special family members, I suggest that you do away with the bride and groom sides. A wedding is about joining two families and should begin at the ceremony. Letting guests sit where they like or sitting the same amount of guests on each side helps to keep the sides of the church equal which looks better in pictures and is much less awkward.
