Tip of the Day – Reserved Ceremony Seating

The first few rows of seats at the ceremony should be reserved for special family members. You want your closest family members to have the best view and feel special on your big day. You can mark off the first few rows with ribbon, making reserved signs to place on those pews or seats, or make specific seating cards with each person’s name on them. Let your special family members know that a seat is being reserved for them by adding a pew card in their invitations or letting them know when they RSVP. Make sure that the ushers have a list of the people with special seating, and ask your family members to mention it to the ushers when they arrive.
