Can you imagine somone’s cell phone ringing as you’re exchanging your vows or during your fist kiss as husband and wife? Make sure this doesn’t happen by posting a sign written in nice calligraphy or have your wedding planner make an announcement before the start of the ceremony. Your sign could say, “In honor of this once-in-a-lifetime moment, please turn off all cell phones and pagers.”

This happened during our wedding! There was nothing we could do but laugh. We should have made a sign!
