Tip of the Day – Winter Wedding Favors
For the last winter wedding tip of the day, I thought I would encourage you to check out one of Stylish Events’ advertisers, beau coup, for adorable winter wedding favors. Seriously, they have a lot to chose from – my favorite is the snowflake brownie pops.

Saturday Feature – Ask April

Libby’s Question: I’m getting married in a little church this June, and we’re having a daytime ceremony and reception to save money. Our floral and decoration budget for the ceremony is low. My fiancé doesn’t really care about decorations at the ceremony, but I don’t want it to be completely plain. I would at least like to have something decorating the aisle or something hanging from the end of the pews. I also want to carry a pretty bouquet, but can’t afford to spend much. Can you help me?
April’s Question: I can’t think of anything more romantic and inexpensive for a June wedding than baby’s breath. It’s a flower that shouldn’t be avoided, especially if you’re running low on cash. If you just use baby’s breath without any other flowers, it’ll look amazing. Trust me. Above is a wreath made of only baby’s breath and it probably didn’t cost much. Hang them on every other pew to save money and have aisle décor. An all baby’s breath bouquet will look just as great. You can even have your bridesmaids carry smaller bouquets of baby’s breath. Keep it simple.

Tip of the Day – Snow Plan
As soon as I woke up this morning and realized that we already have six inches of snow I knew what today’s tip of the day should be. It’s taking my husband almost five hours to shovel our long driveway. I couldn’t imagine him doing this on our wedding day! So….
If you’re a winter bride planning a wedding in a place where there is a chance of snow, you need to have a plan. Make sure that your method of transporation can get you to your ceremony and reception site, and ensure that the guests can make it too. Also, bring a pair of boots to wear to your ceremony site and change into your fancy shoes there, so they don’t get ruined and soaked. Snow can make for beautiful pictures and an enchanting evening, but only if you’re prepared for it.

DIY Wrapping Paper Programs
I’m all about DIY projects that add a little something to a wedding and are inexpensive. This one is so simple – yet creative. A bride found wrapping paper that matched her wedding colors, so she wrapped her programs in the paper. Each program is like a little gift! I love it.

Tip of the Day – Winter Wedding Ceremony Decor
I love the way this winter wedding couple lined the aisle of the ceremony with candles and rose petals. It looks so romantic.
